La Torre civica dell’orologio, edificata tra il XVI e il XVII secolo, era l’unico riferimento orario che i contadini avevano per scandire la giornata lavorativa nelle campagne. L’epigrafe “che io segni per voi ore liete” era ed è l’augurio per tutti coloro che passano sotto la Torre ed in particolare per i novelli sposi che convolavano in matrimonio nell’antistante Chiesa della SS. Addolorata. Di recente realizzazione, invece, è l’anfiteatro che ospita eventi culturali.
The Civic Tower Clock, built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, was the only time reference that the peasants had in order to beat the working day in the countryside. The inscription "may I sign for you happy hours" was and still is the wish for all who pass under the Tower, in particular for brides and grooms who celebrate their weddings in the Our Lady of Sorrows’ Church. Next to it, there is a recently built amphitheater, which hosts cultural events.
